TWO GOATS ORGANIC COFFEE

  

 

Two Goat coffee plantation locates in mounty Daan. Given the semi-sunlight of north facing slopes and drastic temperature differences between day and night due to high latitude, coffee tree grow slower and result in less berries than usual. However, each berry absorbs the required nutrition fully and ripe slower yet better.

 

Since 2009, the Yang couple have persistently grow the coffee trees organically. Weeds are manually removed. Fertiliser are soybean leftover from tofu production. No chemical stuffs are involved to avoid soil contamination. Coffee berries are picked only ripe and in whole, then wet processed, and sun dried. Only the selected full beans with no defects make it to the last stage of roasting. Two Goats coffee scored 82 points in 2016 and is listed as specialty coffee in Taiwan.
